SSE & Siemens: Industrial Networks and Cyber Security

SSE successfully took part in the Siemens “Reti industriali e Cyber Security: le basi della fabbrica digitale” Workshop with interesting contributions on Industrial Cyber Security.
Andrei Popa, IIoT Program Manager, and Cristiano Tatini, Sales Manager, described by means of practical examples (case history) what strategies are necessary to ensure comprehensive protection of industrial plants from internal and external cyber-attacks. “Defense in depth” is according to the recommendations of ISA99 / IEC 62443 the leading standard for security in industrial applications.
